Who We Are
David Hochmuth is the founder and driving force behind NEON Systems, a structured cabling and low-voltage solutions company specializing in networking, A/V, security, and fiber infrastructure. With over a decade of industry experience, David has worked on high-profile projects ranging from enterprise-scale network rollouts to specialized security and A/V system installations.
Before launching NEON Systems, David held key project management and field leadership roles within the industry, where he oversaw thousands of site installations across retail, corporate, and healthcare environments.
Structured Cabling & A/V Expertise – Led the installation of 100+ Crestron-equipped conference rooms and large-scale corporate A/V systems for auditoriums and hospitals.
Retail & Security Rollouts – Managed a 3,000-location data cabling project and a nationwide security upgrade for self-checkouts, overseeing procurement, labor, and client coordination.
Surveillance & RFID Deployments – Directed a 600-site security camera installation for a major self storage chain and implemented an RFID tracking system for a high profile clothing line.
Broad Industry Experience – Worked on everything from nurse call systems in hospitals to self-service kiosk installations for storage facilities.
David's journey into technology began in live sound and A/V production, where he developed a deep understanding of networking, cable infrastructure, and system integration. His passion for delivering high-quality, scalable solutions is the foundation of NEON Systems—where innovation meets reliability.
